Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis: Stacey Shares her Story
“A little over a year ago, stem cell treatment, became a blessing to my life. After bring diagnosed with MS six years ago, I thought the only thing I could do was exercise, go to bed early, do my weekly injections and pray for a miracle. I was drained after the end of every work day. No matter how much sleep I got or naps I took, I could never feel the energy I use to have prior to my first MS flare up.
My husband told me that he would support whatever was out there, to help me feel more like my old self. He knew I was not the person I use to be and he and I both, hated that! After returning home from an amazing vacation, I felt the strength drop out of my legs. I knew in my heart, that I was getting worse, and I wanted to do something about it. I contacted a doctor/best friend, and she recommended stem cells. I had nothing to lose. I was suffering and my children needed me to be functioning again. That’s when I started researching stem cell clinics.
After watching a YouTube video of previous clients, discussing it with my husband and doing a conference call with a Patient Advocate, we decided to go for it. Like I said, I had nothing to lose and thanks to my father-in-law, we had the means to get the procedure done.
Most importantly, the cells would come from my body and that brought me peace. Hours after receiving treatment, I felt this burst of energy!!! It was seriously, a burst. I decided to have my mom take me to the mall, and after that we went to the beach. I was not tired. I had this feeling of joy and hope. The energy lasted, and lasted. My mood changed from that of Eeyore to Tiger.
Based on the doctor’s recommendation, I started taking supplements and made appointments for the hyperbaric oxygen chamber near me. Still to this day, I have energy. I do get tired in the evenings, but that is normal; I can handle that. I can work without feeling exhausted, and I can play with my kids without needing lots of rest breaks. I still have MS symptoms, but with each day, each month, I feel them less and less, and that is because of stem cell treatment.”
