Chrissy Chooses Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis
“It’s really hard to explain how I felt before I started this journey, so what you might think is a small thing could be the biggest thing to me! For the past 20 years (yes I know that I was diagnosed 11 years ago, but I’ve been having symptoms a lot longer than that) I’ve experienced so many things most people in their life will never experience – or have to experience. Pain and discomfort, but also hope and unwavering love from my friends, family and even strangers. I don’t wish the pain on anyone, but I really wish that everyone could experience the love that I have felt every year after year from those that donate to my fight, encourage me everyday to continue, and just send positive thoughts and prayers my way! Trust me, I feel all of it! And for that I am forever grateful!
As for my update, no I am not jumping buildings (how cool to be a super hero though), I have no shaking in my hands (I’ve hidden that or tried to for a long time), the weather changes do not affect me anymore, I’m able to work out – or what I think is working out – and I have 100% no pain!! Most people don’t know that I was in pain because I wouldn’t talk about it. I’m sorry, but you get used to it after a while and even forget that you feel it. When I walk, I walk upright, not hunching over anymore! I don’t need my cane as much as I used to, I’m able to stand longer and walk longer! This is all so incredible to me! The weather changes (70 one day and snowing the next?!) no longer bothers me. I’m coming up on the 3 month post transfusion and I could not be happier with the progress!!
Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement!! I will continue to fight and advocate for myself and others who have to beat this disease.” Chrissy D., March 30, 2017.This testimonial includes a description of this patient’s actual results in finding multiple sclerosis pain relief.
